Our client was working on paving a roadway in Yonkers, New York. Part of the process entailed grinding down the old pavement so that a new layer could be added. As our client inspected the work, another worker drove a street sweeper and ran over our client. The street sweeper lacked the appropriate warning sirens which would have prevented the accident from occurring. Luckily, our client survived but suffered brutal injuries.
