2023 Accident Relief Scholarship

We are profoundly impacted physically and mentally by injuries, whether minor or severe. Injuries are another source of stress, especially for students trying to recover from their injuries while attending an academic institution. For this reason, Stolzenberg Cortelli LLC has created the Accident Relief Scholarship to help students who have been impacted by a traumatic accident.

The Accident Relief Scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to help students recovering from injuries while attending higher education. Students are invited to share a story about an injury they received due to an auto accident, playing a sport, distracted driving, dangerous product, or any other way, and how it has affected their daily lives and education.

Eligibility

  • The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is an active high school, college, vocational, and/or graduate student for the 2024 Spring semester.
  • Employees of Stolzenberg Cortelli LLP, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the competition.
  • Candidates for this scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.

Application Requirements

  • The candidate must submit a 750-1000 word essay response to the prompt: Share a story about an injury they received due to an auto accident, playing a sport, distracted driving, dangerous product, or any other way and how it has affected their daily life and education.
  • The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their professional and academic experience.
  • The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school and the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students must also submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.

The recipient of the Accident Relief Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship deadline.
